These special program offerings are available to enhance your retreat with unique entertainment, thought-provoking challenges, or relaxing ways to take a break from the busyness of life.  We like these to fit who you are and what you are here for, so most of them can be customized to match your retreat theme or meet the goals you have for your time here.

  • Enjoy time with our professional facilitators as they lead your participants through team building challenges designed to create reflection and life application of interpersonal skills. Teams will be led through a problem solving obstacle after which they will have a time of discussion to learn how their behavior as a team relates to real life situations. We can theme these experiences to match your retreat’s message or purpose so that it becomes an especially meaningful activity. This activity is available for both small and large groups. Participant groups will be divided into team building cadres of 10-15+/- regardless of overall group size.

  • Perhaps you want a team building session at your morning meeting or maybe it’s January and you want activities without needing a snow shovel. This is where we bring the team building to you using our mobile elements which can be set up anywhere there is sufficient space. This event works best with group sizes up to 30.

  • Archery is available for class sizes of 20-25. We provide all the equipment and an experienced instructor to aid your participants to fun and success.

  • Our experienced instructors can teach your group a whole slew of different survival skills and techniques. This can be taught either as a fun class or as an exciting and unique form of team building. This activity can be customized to teach a multitude of survival skills and works best with group sizes up to 30.

 
 

  • Get in touch with your inner ninja or channel your Norseman urges and enjoy this exciting craze sweeping the nation. We have a variety of throwing blades that your group will be able to try from knives, axes, tomahawk, and shuriken. Each session accommodates groups between 10-20.

  • Whether you are looking for a night hike or maybe that special something to add to your stay, our guided hikes have a lot to offer for a variety of interests. These can accommodate a large variety of group sizes though groups up to 30 are optimal. Options include:

    Night Hike: Enjoy exploring the world of the night as our guide walks you through several activities that highlight nature after the sun goes down.

    Creation Hike: Join one of our staff as they guide you through exploring many of the natural wonders that Heartland’s woods and wildlands can offer.
