Heartland Conference Retreat Center has several unique spaces for your event or gathering. Click the tabs below to see what each space has to offer and see what will work best for your group.  Oakwood Center is the hub of activity at Heartland. The spacious atrium welcomes guests and gives visitors direct access to restrooms and the dining room with seating for up to 280 guests at one time. Our Food Services staff make each meal an enjoyable feast, with friendly smiles and willing hearts to make your experience the best it can be. With advance notice, our staff can accommodate some dietary needs. For private luncheons or smaller groups, the dining hall also offers an area that is more removed from the rest of the room.

Also located in Oakwood Center is the Multipurpose Room. The Multipurpose Room can be used for large group general sessions, worship, and as an auditorium or gym. Featuring audio, visual, and lighting systems with a full-size stage, the Multipurpose Room offers seating for groups of up to 700. It is also ideal for larger banquet settings and is equipped to convert to full-size indoor basketball or volleyball courts and is the location of our climbing wall.

The dorm-style lodges, the Buckeye Center, outdoor seating, walking trails, and an amphitheater are conveniently located nearby as well.

A great option for many groups is our dorm-style lodges! Dogwood, Maple, and Sycamore Lodge each provide overnight accommodations for up to 196 people. The three dorm-style lodges each have meeting space for up to 70 people and can be used as classrooms or breakout spaces.

Our dorm buildings have modern amenities, including two large restroom facilities with private showers, a year-round climate-controlled environment, and a central meeting space for up to 70 people. Linen service is also available for an additional charge, when available.

For your convenience, a hospitality nook is located off each lobby, offering a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee and tea service. Dining is conveniently located next door at Oakwood Center, and the other great activities at Heartland are all within walking distance.

In August 2023, Southeastern University Ohio Regional Campus became a part of Heartland! We have remodeled the Sycamore Lodge to facilitate on-campus housing for the students and remodeled the Activities Building in Meadowview Park into a Student Center. Many of these students have served at Heartland at our summer camps, through the Ohio Ministry Network and some have chosen to be a part of the Heartland team during the school year! For our Meadowview Park guests, we will be booking sites closest to the South Shower house (also in Meadowview Park). Our SEU students will be utilizing our Buckeye Center for classes some days during the week, but please ask about the availability of our beautiful, newest facility! These changes will be in effect, moving forward, August through May, for the duration of the school year.

An atmosphere of fragrant woodlands captured and brought indoors — that’s the essence of Hickory Lodge. Featuring a stone hearth fireplace reaching up to touch the vaulted ceilings, the airy central meeting room is surrounded by an array of windows which flood the room with natural light. A magnificent setting in which to host your next conference, meeting or retreat.

Overnight accommodations are available for up to 72. Sleeping areas are divided into four bunkhouse-style rooms, two in each wing, with adjacent private rooms, each with private restroom/shower area. Four meeting rooms are available which can accommodate up to 40 people each. The central meeting area accommodates groups of up to 120, and makes a cozy setting for a small banquet or larger group retreat. Linen service is available for an additional charge.

Nestled at the edge of the woods, Beechnut offers a splendid setting in which to relax and refresh. Housing twelve rooms with private baths (10 rooms with two queen beds and 2 rooms with a queen bed and a bunk bed), Beechnut rooms can be rented individually or together. In close proximity to the pool, dining facilities, and hiking trails, Beechnut is a first-class choice for small groups, leadership retreats, or individuals to get away and be refreshed and renewed!

Each beautifully decorated Beechnut room has a mini-fridge, microwave, complimentary in-room coffee and tea, full linen service, wireless internet and more. The central conference area is warm and inviting with oak conference tables and cushioned chairs. A kitchenette allows for serving of light refreshments — a wonderful setting for your next gathering. As Beechnut is a much-desired facility to house guest speakers and staff for different groups, please contact us for availability.

The Davidson Cabin, nestled in the woods in a serene environment, yet close to all Heartland activities, is a two bedroom, one bath, Alpine log cabin. It is great for a personal retreat or a group of up to six people.

Davidson cabin features a gas fireplace, spacious loft area, and kitchenette — all in a warm and cozy décor – the perfect environment for event leaders, guest speakers, pastors, and families, to get away from the daily stresses of life. A restful night’s sleep awaits you in the cabin’s master bedroom, which features an Amish-style queen size bed. The second bedroom offers two comfortable wooden beds for up to two additional guests. Meals prepared by Heartland’s Food Services staff are available to Davidson Cabin guests whenever the dining room is open.

Our Meadowview RV Park is a family-friendly RV park, and is a great option for group camping. The RV park features 150 sites, 50 with full hook-up, and picnic tables available for your convenience.

The shower house facilities are clean, modern and bright. Everything needed for an enjoyable stay is here including: roomy shower facilities, playground, hiking trails and picnic pavilion.
